THE TEAM
CAMPAIGN PROPOSAL
The concept of the New Academic Street student campaign is to encourage RMIT University students to explore the new areas of NAS as they become available through the narrative of a call to adventure.
The centrepiece of the campaign is an event in the beginning of spring, 25th of September on Bowan Street. The event begins with an interactive vending machine that will give students seeds with a ticket to one of the activities set up throughout the NAS precinct. The theme is adventure and the inspiration carnival. During the event a snapchat filter will be live for students to share their experience. In the lead up to the event, a #myNAS competiton will be run in which students capture and share their favourite place in NAS on Instagram or Facebook, the best 10 will receive VIP treatment at the mysterious event 'NAS Adventure'. After the event, videos and photos will be posted about the event on social media.
The communication content is all about exploration, newfound belonging and adventure.

SUBJECT: NAS IS ENDING SO LETS CELEBRATE!
Hey RMIT Students!
The NAS project is coming to an end and spring is almost here so what better time for an adventure!
To celebrate the completion of this mammoth project we’re throwing a party of equal scale and running a competition to go in the running for VIP treatment on the day.
Monday 25th of September will see Bowen Street and other NAS precincts turned into an adventure playground! Exact details are a surprise but there is an opportunity for you to be the first to experience the fun. All you have to do is explore the new NAS spaces and post an Instagram pic with the hashtag #MyNAS sharing how the new space will enhance your student experience. You could take a picture of one of the new cafes, media street, one of the many student hang out spaces, the super cool garden building, the brand new and improved library or whatever! Just get out there and explore! There are so many new and exciting spaces to inspire you.

Hey there!
Just wanted to remind you about the competition and event that NAS is running to celebrate the completion of the project. On Monday the 25th of September we will be throwing an adventure themed party on Bowen Street from midday to 4pm. We’re running an Instagram competition for the opportunity to receive VIP treatment and be the first to experience the adventure activities.
Post a picture on Instagram before September 22nd with the hashtag #MyNas and a brief explanation about the space and why you like it. Its that simple! If you enter you automatically get a $25 voucher to spend in the Retail Activation District. Can't wait to see your entries.
